Michał Batkiewicz is a well-known sculptor whose solemn and grand, primarily religious monuments, e.g. those to Pope John Paul II, have been erected throughout the world, including Europe, USA and Argentina. Nevertheless, ha has recently started to carve small and garden sculptures, which can also be used for furnishing home interiors.
